Job Description :



    The Systems Analyst (SA) leads small to medium IT project initiatives and must plan and implement systems/applications in support of organizational functions. This includes projects related to IT infrastructure, telecomm, applications, COTS, websites, etc. that are developed in­ house as well as Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products.                                                                 

         The SA creates formal project documentation required by the SDLC process.

    This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of IT requests and proposed projects.


    The SA works closely with all members of the project team and is responsible for gathering business requirements and translating those requirements into technical specifications, setting up the test environment and conducting QA testing, coordinating UAT; capturing, documenting and tracking test results; and verifying that applications meet the approved business and technical requirements.


    The SA serves as a resource for change management control activities and works with technical resources and subject matter experts that support the IT infrastructure. Responsible for coordinating and completing project tasks associated infrastructure changes.

    The successful candidate will also act as an advocate for the end-user by analyzing, documenting,

· and making specific recommendations on usability/functionality improvements that may be integrated into programs/applications.




    A comprehensive understanding of and experience with the software development life cycle is required, including waterfall and iterative methodologies.


    Must have a minimum of 2 years of IT project experience as a systems analyst in an IT software development organization. Must have knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, software development life cycle, and the demonstrated ability to develop

technical documentation, including project plans, business requirements, technical specifications, status reports, issue logs and related documents.


    Must have strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and problem solving skills.

    Must be able to work independently.


    Experience in testing without User Interface (Database and file level).


          Experience testing multi-tiered client and server distributed applications and web based software in Windows environments.
