JOB DUTIES:

    Install and configure an Oracle WebLogic lOg/llg domain in a standalone and clustered environment

    Install and Configure Oracle Fusion Middleware, Forms products on top of a WebLogic installation and configuration in Windows and Linux environments.

    Administer WebLogic and WebSphere environments for several in-house-developed and vendor-supplied applications.

    Assist in setting-up/verifying the Windows and Linux application environment.

    Automate the administration of the application run-time environment where possible.

    Provide production control support primarily in the Linux and application server environment.

   Ability to install, configure and support any type of application server software whether it be vendor specific or a proprietary product as long as proper specs and internal resource guidance are provided

    Proactive monitoring and support of the WebLogic environments.

    Performance tuning of the WebLogic Environment and the deployed applications.

    Provide direction and training to application development teams in the Linux and application server environment.

    Evaluate software packages, ensuring that they fit within architecture and infrastructure.

    Provide timely and accurate on-call support for production infrastructure components.

    Provide training or mentoring to large groups on tools or architecture concepts as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

    In-depth understanding of WebLogic Configuration, Administration and run-time environment.

    In-depth knowledge of Windows and LINUX environment from a system administration and architecture perspective.

    In-depth understanding of the Windows and LINUX file system

    Windows and Kom shell programming is required; Perl programming a plus.

a. Senior level experience in Application Server Administration, prefer WebLogic and WebSphere.

b. Leadership skills to work with multiple support and application teams.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

    Superior communication skills both written and oral

    Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

    5+ years' experience administering WebLogic/J2EE environment.

    2+ years' experience administering WebLogic/J2EE environment lOg

    1+ years' experience administering WebLogic/J2EE environment llg. BPM/SOA suite environment is a plus.

    Experience in configuring, monitoring and tuning WebLogic domain in a cluster and high-available environment
